At the time of writing, it has been 4 months since we decided to get serious about being parents. We are still early in the process, but we've learned so much from other helpful blogs. We'll be documenting our journey here, so there is one more gay family planning adventure to review for other couples like us.
We are:
Me (Plant Head, soon to be Dr. Plant) - 29, BMI=23.6, no diagnosed fertility problems, regular cycles. I'm planning to carry the child(ren?).
My wife (Mr. Mom) - 34, not interested in carrying children, but has wanted kids since she was a kid. EDIT: Just kidding! Mr. Mom will be trying to get pregnant for Child 1.0.
We will celebrate our 6 month wedding anniversary this month (if that's a thing?), and we'll celebrate the 10th anniversary of the day we met this June.
We live in a state with kinder laws, and a town that is very accepting of us, and we thank our lucky stars for this.
We also have 1 hound dog and 3 black cats.
